HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF, BUT WHAT THEY FORGET IS ATATÜRK'S MILITARY ACADEMY STUDENTS! THIS REPUBLIC IS ENTRUSTED TO US: WE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO THIS DARKNESS! Today, Turkey is going through a pitch-black darkness, resembling an absurd crime film, where justice, law, and logic have been suspended. They have turned the streets into a stage where the mafia, gangs, and organized crime syndicates run rampant. A dirty system has been built where journalists are thrown into prisons instead of delivering news to the public, while those who commit the robberies of the century, those who occupy key positions in the state and power, shamelessly cover it up without punishment or accountability. We will not remain silent in the face of this rottenness where everything is mixed up and the hierarchy of the state mechanism has been shackled! In this period when we are stepping into the second century of our Republic, we do not accept that our more than 100 years of democratic experience is shackled by a quarter-century of autocracy and a one-man regime. The mentality that considers itself above the law, disregarding the secular and democratic structure of this country and dragging it into darkness with imaginary titles, targets the mental health, hopes, and future of society. In this period when even the opposition hides behind walls of fear due to the heavy pressure society is subjected to, we do not have a single day to leave the field to this decay! Our struggle is for the clean future of this country, for our children and young people growing up. Because we did not find this Republic, this homeland, this flag on the street! This state was founded with the blood, lives, and unparalleled sacrifices of our fathers and grandfathers, and it is their most sacred trust to us. I am a Karachay Turk who experienced the brutal genocide of the Russian Tsardom in 1866, was driven from my homeland, from the Caucasus, and felt the relentless pain of being stateless to my very core! My ancestors know best what it means to be stateless. That is why we will not sacrifice even a single stone of this homeland. My grandfather and my father both fought side-by-side as officers and soldiers in the Ottoman and Ankara armies during the War of Independence. The blood of our family and ancestors flowed on every inch of this land when this state was founded. We have taken an honorable oath as officers to protect and defend this country under any circumstances! Our oath is not merely on paper; it lives in the noble blood in our veins, in the legacy of our ancestors. We will surely pull Turkey out of this sticky, rotten vortex they are trying to drag it into. We are not afraid, we are not intimidated, we do not surrender! We will not allow these dark forces to seize the secular, democratic, and fully independent Republic of Turkey, the legacy of our ancestors! At any cost, we will make this country the center of justice and enlightenment once again!
