WORLD PRESS The Autocratic Regime in Turkey has collapsed the economy and chaos reigns. All democratic rights are suspended, misery is rampant. Streets and squares are echoing with calls for the government to resign. Heavy repression is being applied; journalists and opposition mayors are in prison. The autocratic regime is resisting holding elections. Turkey is ungovernable. The press is under censorship. Opposition and independent press are under pressure. TVs that act as mouthpieces for the government are deceiving the world. TL1 TV has been shut down. Only two opposition TVs remain: Halk TV and Sözcü TV. Apart from these, only three newspapers remain in print: Sözcü newspaper and Korkusuz newspaper. In short, the government has seized control of the state and is applying pressure on all institutions. This Islamo-fascist regime is imposing religion on the people. The people are rebelling. The same repression applied in America is being applied. Even criticism is considered a crime. Prisons are full of political prisoners.
