IFJ - INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF JOURNALISTS News from Turkey: On this first day of the New Year, there is a Palestine rally on the Galata Bridge in Istanbul. However, while this rally is banned for opposition parties on the Galata Bridge, it is allowed because it is organized by an Islamic foundation, and the founder of this foundation, Bilal Erdoğan, is leading the rally, meaning he is Mr. Erdoğan's son. Racist, genocidal Netanyahu was protested there. But the whole world knows that crazy Trump is behind Netanyahu, and there are no protests referring to him. Those who organize this rally continue to trade with Israel, and they protest. Why aren't the Israeli Consulate and the US Embassy closed? The US Ambassador speaks like a colonial governor, and those protesting don't utter a peep. They are doing Palestinian propaganda here. The people don't believe in these rallies anyway. The aim is to bring Bilal Erdoğan into the spotlight.
