Sydney (Eora), November 26, 2025 - In a groundbreaking decision on November 25, Mongolia's Constitutional Court ruled that a controversial provision in the country's Criminal Code regarding "false information" violated the constitution. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), joined its affiliate, the Confederation of Mongolian Journalists (CMJ), in welcoming the decision and urging the Mongolian parliament to take the critical next step to accept the court's decision.
