IFJ-INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF JOURNALIST
There's a US Ambassador in Turkey. He's like a colonial governor directing and advising the state. Isn't there anyone who can put this impudent man in his place? Instead of giving us advice, give us military support. We are NATO members. When the Turkish army enters a war, the Turkish army will also join this war. So, this army is the largest NATO army. Why is our army given modern military equipment to Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Greece? Aircraft are not provided. Why are we, as a NATO member, flying with old aircraft? Why are we using the C-130 transport aircraft that Saudi Arabia has put into disrepair? Why are we martyring 20 of our trained military personnel? Who is responsible for this? Is NATO to take responsibility for these 20 airmen? Is the government to blame? I don't want to say anything about this. There's no sound or noise from TURAMP. Where are our F-35s? Where are our promised F-16s? Your goal is to bring Türkiye to its knees. Is this the kind of NATO partnership that would collapse?
So, NATO discriminates among allies. Why are other NATO countries using advanced military equipment? Why aren't we being given it?
