IFJ-INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF JOURNALIST: We Turks are a nation deeply devoted to our freedom and independence. All segments of society. A century ago, we struggled against sultanate and autocracy. We experienced periods when the press was banned, and ultimately, we abolished both the sultanate and censorship. This struggle has become an example for the oppressed. We will tear apart the autocratic regime we currently live in with resolute struggle, just like Atatürk. We, the democratic, secular, and revolutionary Turkish nation, will send the American people away from Turamp. No one gives freedom to anyone. We will win through struggle. The Turkish nation, robbed by the government for 23 years, will definitely hold them accountable. We will write the truth. We will tell the truth. We are Journalist OSMAN NEVRES (Journalist Hasan Tahsin), the noble martyr of our War of Independence.
