We are currently at the peak of lawlessness in Turkey. The main opposition party is Ankara, the metropolitan municipality. Many people have been detained. The reason is the money paid at the concert. The previous AKP mayor, İ. Melih Gökçek, was reported on TV as having sold Ankara parcel by parcel, as claimed by AKP members. Ninety-seven criminal complaints have been filed against the former AKP mayor, but none have been prosecuted. This Ankara Operation aims to obstruct the opposition. If Ekrem İmamoğlu is sentenced, Mansur Yavaş will replace him as a presidential candidate. This is a big game being played to prevent him from running. No institution in Turkey has any credibility left. The judiciary is divided into two. Judges and prosecutors appointed by the government. Judges and prosecutors not appointed by the government. This is the situation. None of us are safe in this country. The country is in complete legal and social collapse. We are experiencing social trauma. This Ankara Operation is the last straw.
