In Turkey, the government has currently begun a tree massacre in the village of Akbelen, Muğla. Olive trees are being uprooted. Gendarmerie forces entered the villagers' registered lands. The olive massacre has begun. The reason is the search for gold. They are doing this with a law passed by Parliament. Akbelen village is resisting. The gendarmerie has made numerous arrests to prevent the surrender of their lands and is trying to break the resistance. In other words, nature in Turkey is being massacred by the government, and olive trees, the source of people's livelihood, are being uprooted and destroyed. Turkey is resisting the government. A region that has lived off olive cultivation for centuries is being destroyed, and the villagers are being forced to move from Akbelen to another place. People's ancestral lands are being taken from them. To prevent economic disaster, to bring in some money for the country, they are destroying olive groves, a national treasure. But the villagers of Akbelen are resisting. To prevent the surrender of their lands, olives, and homes, the government is trying to deceive the world with its own six-horse media.
