IFJ-INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF JOURNALIST There is no freedom of the press in Turkey because we have such difficulty sharing an article. The articles I write under Facebook control are blocked by Facebook 50 times. I can only share important events on Facebook, either from my websites, blogger, Tumblr, or Wi.com. In Turkey, criticizing the head of state is a crime, as if it were sacred. How many journalists are in prison simply for criticizing the head of state? Justice and law have become the AKP's backyard. They use the judiciary to intimidate the nation. Political and economic chaos in Turkey continues unabated. The country is like a boiling cauldron. Turkey is an open prison. Everyone is in prison. If I can share my article, I will share it anyway. We are fighting for democracy, law, human rights, and secularism. Respectfully, ERTUĞRUL DEMİRÖZCAN

Some are professors, some are judges, some are engineers. These events are making headlines on TV.
