Workers' rights in Turkey have been suspended. Collective bargaining is at the negotiating table between the government and labor unions.
Dispute over salary increases: Despite the constitutional right to strike, the government banned labor unions, claiming it would harm national security. Oppressed segments of Turkey—workers, civil servants, retirees, and peasants—are in a miserable situation. Autocratic rule condemned the people to hunger and poverty. Strikes were banned.
Autocratic rule enjoys every blessing of the state, but the people are suffering from hunger and poverty.
The government has banned all legal remedies. This means the law cannot be used; the law has become politicized.
It is very difficult for unions to overcome the strike ban. Now, unions in Europe and around the world must support Turkey.
Everything that is against the law is being used. BIPLOMAs are being revoked and banned.
The situation is getting worse every day. Türkiye is deteriorating.
