WHAT IS TURKISH WHO IS TURKISH?
According to some history professors, the first Turks are considered to have lived on the continent of Mu. According to some history professors, the first places of departure
It is considered as Central Asia, thousands of years ago, billions of Turks lived in the whole of the world, mainly as the American continent.
There are Turks in many places, especially in Europe, scattered in their regions.
Turkishness is a certain state of thinking, feeling, looking, seeing, hearing, perceiving, empathizing and not thinking, not being touched, not looking, not seeing, not hearing, not perceiving and not being able to empathize, which is seen in the overwhelming majority of Turkish and assimilated people.
Turkish nation; It is a society that is connected to each other with its ancestry, language, culture, ideal, homeland, history and religion element and unity." (Nejdet Sançar) Some members of the Turkish nation may belong to the Turkish Nation with all of these elements, some with a few of them. (TURKAU) Turkau This article is Nejdet Sançar's article titled “The Description of the Turkish Nation.” In the article, the formations of different nations were briefly examined, it was determined that each nation went through different formation processes and the elements that formed the Turkish nation were examined, and "What is a Turk? Who is a Turk? What is Turkishness?" The questions were answered. The article, in which a scientific definition of Turkishness is systematically presented, is important in terms of being a sociological and realistic definition of Turkish. It is an interconnected society.” and it means that 'some members of the Turkish nation may belong to the Turkish Nation with a few of these elements completely and some of them'. Our society has been faced with different recipes from the beginning of the search for the answer to this question. The nation was tried to be tied only to them; sometimes, nationality, which is a purely scientific issue, was tried to be an expression of political thoughts. With such behaviors, whose starting point was disabled, emotional or purposeful, the true and scientific description of the Turkish nation could not be revealed. and far from expressing the truth, many generations have been confused with each other and with unscientific descriptions. The Formation and Elements of Nations are Different from Each Other Before attempting to define the Turk, it is necessary to know a fact. This fact is that a single and common definition of the concept of nation has not been made in the world until today. The reason for this is the differences in the formation of nations. There are various elements such as race, language, homeland, culture, religion, ideal, history that make up nations. If all the nations on earth had come into being by the collection of all these elements, then it would be possible and natural to define a common nation. But it is not and has not been. Nations emerged with the merging and fusion of one or more of these elements. Too often an element of great importance in one played no part in the making of the other. For example; For Turks, Hungarians and Germans, race is an important element of nationality. Not for the French and the Americans. Because Turks, Hungarians and Germans are nations composed of a single race. The French arose from the mixing of a few races and the Americans of many races. Language; It is an important element for Turks and Arabs. Because, like all Turks, all Arabs also speak the same language. But for the Swiss, whose three cantons speak three languages—German, French, and Italian—language is not an element of unity. Homeland; It is an important element of nationality for the nations whose members live within the borders of the state. However, the same cannot be said for those who have nationals outside the borders of their independent states. The Germans who remained in parts of Germany's lands that were captured by the Muscovites after the Second World War, and the captive Turks in our first homeland, the Eastern Turkic lands, and in other provinces are examples of this. The Jews, who established their state in Palestine today, were living in a scattered state in many parts of the world until recently. If homeland were an absolute element for nationality, it would be necessary to deny the Jewish nation. However, the Jewish nation existed throughout history. Today, it continues to exist in Israel, having re-established its state. This is the reason why a common recipe cannot be made for all nations. Because all the elements that make up the nation are not found in all nations. Therefore, societies have to make recipes that include the nationality elements that play a role in their formation. french
